Future Funk Laboratory at ISL

ISL (iStrategyLabs), 641 S St NW

May 6, 12:00 - 7:00pm

In collaboration with iStrategyLabs, the DCVR Meet Up Group,  BRINK Media, Code for DC, and many more, the Funk Parade is hosting its first ever Future Funk Laboratory. The Lab will be located at the ISL offices, part of the former Wonder Bread Factory at 641 S St NW.

Creatives from the District's Art, Tech, and Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) communities will showcase and celebrate their projects and innovations with the public.  Come check out interactive VR/AR games, unique 360 video content, virtual reality art projects, some of the newest music-technology innovations and interactive project demos from Code for DC and their partners.

The Lab is part of Funk Parade's 2017 theme of #FutureFunk, inspired by the landing of George Clinton's Mothership in DC, Sun Ra Arkestra's afro-futurist headline performance, and the power of our diverse and vibrant community to celebrate a positive Future for all.
